Get Creative and Get Out! The Fresh Air Will Do Your Inspiration Good!

I was stalemated, dried up pool of absolutely no inspiration whatsoever. OK, so it wasn't that bad, but let me tell you, I hit a creative "wall". Running through my park lane of creativity, I felt I was going at a reasonable pace when POW! I woke up the next morning and felt all of the creative energy was gone. Drained out of me like a helium balloon deflating in mid air.

Where did it go? How long would it be before I got it back? I had been down this road before, but not like this. I had experienced ups and downs on the creative roller coaster, but this was a downer like no other. What was I going to do to get it back?

Night after night I sat in front of my computer and slowly typed up articles at a snail's pace. I swear, dust formed on the keys before my eyes. Each keystroke was less than a stroke of genius. Far, far from genius. I had fallen into a rut. I was going full steam a few weeks ago, but where did the train fall off of the track? I had to find out.

I tried reading inspiration stories and drinking organic teas that touted they were good for your thought provoking processes. Nothing happened. I attempted to get more sleep and eat better, and still no improvement. What was it going to take to get me back in the swing.

My daughter, missing her Mom who had vacated the parental premises, stated that she was bored, and out of the blue said that she wish we could go for a walk together. A walk. A simple walk in the sunshine on a lovely early summer evening. A walk and a chat. A simple chat and a walk in the sunshine on a lovely early summer evening. What a great idea. Inside I sort of shunned it, thinking that was a silly idea, but I looked at her and I couldn't say no. Considering that up until I started to write articles, I walked on my treadmill 4kms on most evenings, this was a truly natural suggestion. A walk.

So we did it. We went for a walk in the sunshine on a lovely early summer evening. We even had a chat with our walk in the sunshine on a lovely early summer evening. Speaking for myself, such a natural and simple exercise became a quite inspirational one.

We returned from our walk, and continued to chat and share, just little things, but meaningful things. We made a little lasting memory. I kissed her on the head goodnight and tucked her into bed.

I returned to my computer and the task of writing, well, wasn't such a task anymore. I picked up where I left off and wrote a few more articles. The stagnation had ended, and inspiration took it's place. How wonderful. A simple idea turned into many thoughts. Construction could begin again on my mind's previously shut down creativity.

Simple things inspire. Sometimes we make the wrong choices and decide not to take time out. By doing this, we set ourselves up to hit the "wall". Taking this time out doesn't have to mean you are being selfish, it can sometimes turn out to be quite selfless instead.

Blocked? Boost Your Creativity and Innovation With Just Sounds and Surprise Your Boss

Is your creativity blocked? Don't worry, it happens to everyone. Even famous artists of any genre such as painters, actors or writers become blocked. The good news is that you can overcome this inventive paralysis by training your mind to get into a flow state. You can do this by listening sounds built with brainwave entrainment technology.

When we face difficult problems or challenging projects at school, university, job, etc., some of us find troublesome to concentrate and allow our ideas to flow around the problem to come up with a solution with creativity and innovation. This condition gets worse when we have tight deadlines.

The problem arises when we fall in anxiety. Anxiety activates the Amygdala, Hippocampus, and Hypothalamus producing adrenaline causing the increase of the heart beat rate and blood pressure. In addition, the muscles tenses, and our brain becomes alert. This effect is known fight-or-flight response. The fight-or-flight response is the tool that nature gives us to survive threatening situations and decide whether to run or fight for your life. However, this high alertness state distracts our mind from the main objective that is to solve a quotidian problem.

From the neurological point of view, the alertness state accelerates the speed of our brain waves, achieving our mind high beta or gamma waves dominance. On the other hand, creativity is generally associated with the alpha wave level. This level is found ruling in artists, musicians, and creative thinkers. The ideal level of creativity occurs when the dominant brain wave is around the 10hz.

You can achieve the alpha mental state in many ways. Some are recommendable some are not. Starting with the non-recommendable ways to synchronize with the alpha state you can drink alcohol or consume some drugs, but these alternatives have undesirable side effects. Among the recommendable means, you can find many relaxation alternatives such as self-hypnosis, meditation, breathing techniques, etc. However, the relaxation techniques require time, resource that not always is available in our accelerated lives.

Happily, there is an easy and quick alternative to get into the flow state: brainwave entrainment. This technique is used to create sessions with special sounds that can be used for brain stimulation. In fact, you only need to listen to the sessions during between 15' and 30' and, then. You will be in a creative state. These sessions usually include alpha waves. Sometimes the sessions work better when alpha waves are combined with low beta waves to get quick good ideas. Sometimes it is advisable to combine the alpha waves with theta waves to be in contact with our unconsciousness and get deep inspiration. Usually these sessions come in the form of MP3 files to be listened with your Mp3 player. Therefore, you can use the sessions while brainstorming, inventing or analyzing creative ideas.

The brainwave entrainment method has proven very successful at producing new neural connections, stimulating the conception of fresh ideas, and being relaxed enough to be receptive to these fresh ideas. The more you train your mind with entrainment sessions for innovation and creativity the best your brain will react in the future.

The Mysticism and Ecstasy of Creativity - Channeling Your Creative Energy and Inspiration

As we become more developed in our knowledge about channeling creative energy, we discover that creativity flows from two chakras in the body. One chakra from which creativity flows is the "Throat Chakra," but creativity also flows from the "Sacral Chakra"--the same chakra from which our sensuality flows. With this evidence, it is apparent that creativity is not only a mystical experience but also an experience that brings great ecstasy.

Now to say that the flow of creativity and inspiration is a mystical and ecstatic experience may seem salacious; it seems salacious because it is. Creativity is always sensual and salacious even as it edifies and enlightens us.

In fact, many of us right now are craving a way to channel our creativity in a positive and productive method which stirs this mysticism and ecstasy. We can feel the psychic touch of our creativity as it flows and stimulates us within our Soul. Each time we are stimulated, it appears that we learn something more about ourselves and the Universe we live in.

This stimulation is called inspiration. The flow of inspiration reminds us of our spirit. It reminds us that we are more than flesh and bone. Yes, you can say it is a "metaphysical" experience. It is metaphysical because it is "beyond" the physical. And it is when we choose to create in a realm beyond the physical that we discover our true and highest potential.

Furthermore, as we channel creative energy through us we feel a sense of joy and accomplishment. And our purpose here on Earth is to experience joy with purpose. Joy with purpose allows us to remain in a state of happiness rather than desperately pursuing happiness only for it to elude us.

Again, as Divine Beings, it is through the flow of inspiration that we remember our spirit or the essence of our true and authentic self. As we stir and stimulate our creativity, we reach beyond the physical and tap into the field of infinite possibilities. When we tap into this powerful field within ourselves, we experience ecstasy as creative energy flows. And at the end and the beginning of the day, all we want is to experience bliss, let our passion grow, and let inspiration flow.

Yes, when inspiration flows and the ecstasy of creative energy is ignited, it is mystical. It seems as if we have gone beyond the limitations of our physical environment and reached the cosmos. It feels this way because this is exactly what is happening.

Do you have to be an artist, thespian, great singer, writer, or sculptor to experience the ecstasy and mysticism of creative energy and inspiration? Not necessarily. You can experience the ecstasy and mysticism of creativity and inspiration simply by living an inspired life.

When we live an inspired life, we allow The Creative Spirit to move us. We take inspired action as it is present to us. We become available to ever-increasing good. We become a vessel through which inspiration flows. This means letting go of the ego and practicing our spiritual work such as meditation, prayer, yoga, visioning, journaling, and creative visualization. As we commit to such spiritual work, the flow begins, the ecstasy erupts and we experience the mysticism of inspiration and creativity.

Affirmations For Writers - Enhance Your Creativity and Your Income

Have you discovered the benefits of affirmations for your writing career? Many successful writers use affirmations. If you're not using them, you're missing out on a super-simple way of reaching your full potential as a writer.

Basically affirmations are INSPIRING self-talk -- they're what you say to yourself to counteract damaging self-talk. We all have damaging self-talk running through our brains.

Damaging self-talk is the old tapes you play in your head, whenever they're triggered by something which happens. Many damaging self-talk tapes are recorded in childhood. Perhaps you broke a plate, and your exasperated mom said: "You're so clumsy!" Or you failed a test, and decided that you couldn't spell, or do maths, or draw.

In childhood, before the age of eight, you spent a lot of time in the alpha mind state. This is mind state in which you're highly suggestible, and lots of damaging mind tapes are recorded then.

If you were aware of your damaging self-talk, you could counteract it, but these old tapes play quickly, below the level of your conscious awareness.

You've got thousands of these old tapes waiting to be triggered. One of the biggest benefits of using affirmations is that you become aware of these old tapes, and once they're conscious, they lose any power they've had to affect your behavior or feelings.

For example, let's say you created an affirmation: "Writing is now easy and fun for me." You write this affirmation five times.

Here's what happens: your old tapes start to play, loudly.

Write down what these old tapes say -- you'll need to write quickly, you've probably got many tapes which say things like: "Writing is hard, I've never been good at writing"; "I can't write"; "Nothing I write is good or worthwhile, so it's a waste of time trying."

This is excellent -- write down as many of these old tapes as you can, because now you know what they are, they can't hurt you.

Affirmations Help You to Change Your Belief System

Affirmations help you to change disabling beliefs -- those beliefs you're not aware that you hold.

Here's how to create your own empowering affirmations: create them from your mind tapes. Just switch the old tapes from negative statements to positive ones.

For example:

* Writing is hard, I've never been good at writing BECOMES: "Writing is easy and fun for me, I've always been great at writing";

* I can't write BECOMES: "I write easily and effortlessly, I'm an excellent writer."

Try it. Affirmations enhance your creativity and your income. Why walk around with old, damaging self-talk? Start changing your self-talk today, with the power of affirmations.

How Scrapbooking And Paper Crafting Can Serve Practical And Inspiring Purposes

Paper crafting is an activity that allows us to open to our imagination and shape things than mean something to us as individuals. Sometimes, these objects are functional in the traditional sense, but often they are not. When the latter appears true, these items may have a shelf life that is short; think of holiday cards or origami pieces that weren't meant to last beyond a few weeks with general handling. But, are they really "non-functional" if they help motivate and inspire us to do the things we must do and live better lives?

These items can still be functional in the sense that they have the practical purpose of providing moments of pleasure as we make them and enjoy them later in life. They can even play major roles in how we attain goals or work in certain spaces; items on display have the purpose of reminding us of what is important and or adding to our general appreciation of life as we see something that brings us pleasure on a regular basis. These can function as creative motivators that generate ideas which are very specific to how we are motivated on an individual level.

Looking at things that give us pleasure is key to some people. And sometimes, the general cleanliness, orderliness or artistic design of a room can throw certain individuals way off kilter or swing them back into the range of productivity that helps them meet their work and life goals. Often these people, will say things like "it feels so much easier to work in here" or "now, I feel inspired" or the common one, "I can't work around a mess."

For example, a crafty YouTube personality, with the online handle, "athomewithnikki," has made an inspiring workplace out of close. Really. Important to Nikki, colors play a large role as well. One of her main motivators was to think of how a big business operates and set off sections of the closet according to that mindset, including inventory, supplies and so on. These are extreme examples of how combining the very practical function of using inspiration and craft projects can alter your general course in life and improve it for the better. Creativity extends from all of her crafty projects and culminates in her use of colors, words and concepts to help shape objects which will influence her life for the better. Most of us could use this kind of thinking in our lives.

How will these ideas affect your next paper crafting project?

Finding out what inspires you to meet goals could be as simple as looking at what you have that must be attended to and, then, finding the way to represent it in the most personally appealing and motivating matter. You can also notice what others say helps them. Be encouraged. And, consider if the essence of those ideas or the ideas themselves could aid your process ass you attempt to combine the inspiring with the practical.
